Q1. What is going to happen to the Clubhouse and when is the last day of Clubhouse operations?
Reply: The Clubhouse will be closed, and the land will be reinstated and returned to SLA. The last day of Clubhouse operations is expected to be at the end of 3rd quarter of 2025 or earlier. TGC is in discussion with SLA to ascertain the handover requirements in order to determine the Clubhouse’s last day of operations. More information will be announced when it is ready. Members of public can continue to patronize the dining, recreation, and preschool facilities until the last day of operations.
Q2. What is TGC’s new operating model?
Reply: TGC will transition to a new operating model to focus on meeting the social, recreational, personal developmental and well-being needs of the Grassroots Leaders under the People’s Association. The focus will be on providing a broad range of programmes and creating more opportunities enhanced members’ experiences and provide offerings beyond the physical clubhouse. More details on the membership scheme will be shared in due course. The full fledge of the offerings on the will be announced in the Q3 2025.
Q3. How does it affect my membership and subscription?
Reply: A pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the membership fee will be made to members in view the clubhouse will be close permanently. More details on the process of refund will be shared in due course. Members can continue to use the Club facilities and services until the last day of operations of the physical Clubhouse. Q4. What type of membership benefits can Members expect in the revamped TGC?
Reply: Further details on TGC’s new operating model and the membership are currently being refined, and the TGC will share more information once it is ready.
Q5. How will members stay informed about progress and updates of TGC?
Reply: TCG will continue to provide regular updates to its members on the progress of TGC. Announcements will be made through TGC’s EDMs to members, website announcements, social media channels, and display of physical notices at Clubhouse. Members can refer to the notices on TGC website pertaining to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). Q6. What will happen to the organization of Club activities and events?
Reply: TGC will continue to organise club activities, programmes and events at the Clubhouse. Members will also continue to receive notification of upcoming Members’ events and activities via the TGC’s channels such as electronic direct mail (EDM), WhatsApp and Telegram.
